Two Thumbs Up For Florida’s Governor Christ…

UPDATE: Just today Florida has accepted another 700 Haitians to our hospitals while other states refuse them… We had the highest Haitian population in the United States before the earthquake and they keep bringing us more, let’s start to balance this out a bit please. And two thumbs down for CNN… I am not real big on politics, but Governor Christ gets my vote for standing up and saying “stop bringing Haitians to Florida”. CNN acted like he is Satan himself for telling the military to stop dropping off hundreds of Haitians in Florida, but I have an idea… If all these Hollywood stars love Haitians so much, start bringing them to California hospitals, Florida is full. CNN would have you believe Miami’s ‘little Haiti’ is like a vacation resort, in fact it is more like an open sewer. To be honest, I would like to see the government offer all the Haitians in America $5000 and free passage back to Haiti so they can help rebuild their country. Read between the lines of what is being reported and you will see that the supposedly ‘docile’ Haitians are far from what they would like you to believe. The country has no real government and is mostly run by gangs… Contrary to what is being said on CNN, Haiti is an extremely violent place, so much so that they cannot even allow men to receive food, they have to pepper spray them to keep control and distribute aid to women, who might share it with their children. Call me what you want for my opinion of the sad situation in Haiti, but think of it this way… We are dumping huge amounts of money into Haiti to help them out, but I feel it is much like trying to grow crops in a desert. Sure, if you throw enough money at it you can get it to happen, but it is not going to make it start raining, so as soon as the money stops flowing in the crops will whither and die. Haiti is not much different today than it was the day before the earthquake, and until THEY figure out how to change things, we are throwing our money down the toilet, because unless you want to keep sending it forever (which America cannot afford to do if we ever want our economy to improve) you are trying to grow corn that will end up costing $100 per serving. |
